InsensitiveA Poem by Kathleen Burlas
He's unconsciously hurting me
Those words that I said He tossed them in the air Ignored it like it's invisible He just don't know How much courage I breathed in It wasn't that easy For me to utter those words But just like an unwanted toy He didn't pay his attention I smile for cover This prince is just a little insensitive Got a new name for him He's Mr. Insensitive My poor little hearty Has fallen for an insensitive prince Like a giant Kraken He dragged my feelings ocean deep And like the calm ocean breeze He rests like nothing happened -Kathleen L. Burlas-
