The Fire of Anger

I have compared forest fire with human anger.

An angry spark
puts the forest on fire.
Earlier cool and calm,
now thoughtlessly fuming.

Flames spread,
engulfing all in their path.
Unaware of all the damage
they leave behind.

The fire is doused,
but its mark remains.
The beautiful forest greenery
now only black ashes.

This fire can't be prevented,
but human anger can.

We think the same thoughts. I sensed you were alluding to anger. It is consuming and overpowering if we let it be and neither water nor a wet blanket can douse it until the fuel, yourself, is consumed into ashes that scatter in the wind.

Boy o boy... You know, I had this same discussion with my 16 yr old son...
Can anger be prevented? I think it is possible but very hard to achieve. It is easier to learn how to control our anger than to not have any...
Maybe a nice controlled burn is a good thing from time to time?

both anger and fire raise up the heat and once something's done in anger we can't undo it . great work keep it up :)
