Prologue

A Chapter by Sarah M. G.
"

Unbreakable, you called me.

"

Unbreakable, you called me.

Unbreakable—but do you see me?  Do you take it back?  Your only lie—it had to be here.  Had to be now.

I broke when you were gone, so I came after you, to make us unbroken again.  I thought I could save us; I thought I was strong enough.  No.  I was wrong and it destroyed you.

But then, you always knew it would end here, didn’t you, almost touching the sky?  A good place, maybe.  You can feel the sun.

What I would give to hear what you’re thinking I don’t know.  To find what’s left when your eyes are a stained glass angel’s and shattered.  True, I’m scared, but this once, just this once, I could swallow it for you, be strong enough.

I wish you could hear me say I’m sorry.  I was too proud to give up, and this can’t be undone now.  My fault... pride and love are dangerous things apart, but together they are deadly.  And together is the only way for you and me.

         Together.  Together we will fall.

Honestly i like your voice. its clear cut, it is simple and easy to understand. I might challenge you to maybe be a little more specific yet keep the reader in the dark for the most part but this is really a nice start, a bit more in length and a font that is a little easier to read might be nice too. As always though good job for writing that is the hardest part.
