learning to fly

learning to fly

A Poem by smear
"

prompt: The feeling of being in a quiet airport waiting for your flight late at night/very early in the morning

"

im so nervous, ive never been on a plain
the anticipations killing me,
ouch! what a pain

im just hoping i wont crash and burn
before i see you again
oh how i yearn
to hold you, my friend

quiet and spooky
the walls are curving
a little uneasy
this place is unnerving

oh! rush to me, wont you?
to my metal chariot and burning love,
please let me down easy
