robber’s veil

robber’s veil

A Poem by smear
"

today he tried to run into the robber’s veil snow had become

"

today he tried to run
into the robber’s veil
snow had become

the lights had all grown dim
it’s cold out,
we’ll let him in

he stole me heart
like another jewel
though this one,

would not sell

scars, marks, mars, and stone
like my blood, it will atone

for what is a ruby without it’s shine
what is an angel, if ain’t it divine
