A Poem by smear
"

and you lay there waiting for someone else to understand you're moving light years ahead in your mind

"
Some times the human feels too human
when the machine is taking over
the little moments on your own
bring a dulcet kind of comfort
though you’ve been alone this whole time

his days are going nowhere
as he looks in his reflection
they always say sex will change you
only if she could come out of me
he thinks

and you lay there waiting
for someone else to understand
you're moving light years ahead
in your mind

the sober and the somber
try to fix it with the comet
sometimes
a wish is all you need

and as the days grow colder
your breaths are growing
shorter and
brief
