Autumn

Autumn

A Poem by smear
"

You're like a warm Autumn sun That over looks the horizon Watching all of those lonely people.

"
You're like a warm Autumn sun
That over looks the horizon
Watching all of those lonely people.

Strikingly, you embrace the shadows
As (a) Murder of crows claims your light as their own.

The Ecstasy of the dawn brings roses to a withering grave
Because they cannot handle the emotion that they once had
Dull now, to old sensations, they begin to hide from the world
They bore new scars to those who dare to touch them, as only their thorns remain.

I wade through the flooded field of Rye
Sinking with every step I find it fit to take.

With this new found passion I will Triumph
for, my dear, you do not even know of the true beauty you hold.

With your blood in  my Veins I await your return.

Over time, the light you once gave will be replaced with the dim glow of twilight
because your sun is setting
Your shadow becoming absent as all is enveloped in the shroud of this dark satin.
