look up to the sky

look up to the sky

A Poem by smear

the water is shallow,
but it looked so deep...
i tried to swallow,
but i couldn't keep...
Her soul is hollow,
counting the bodies like sheep...

The rain was red,
the trees...now dead,
the rain was acid...
the butterflies fled.
shells of the ignorant were cracked...
so she was laid to bed.

The sound was postmortem,
filled with transgressions...
the masks of Sodom,
left their impressions...

the soul that was so hollow,
down inside...
is just a little grayer...
and now is mine...
because your god's silence,
speaks loud and clear...
