A home in the sky

A Poem by smear

"All I've ever wanted
All I've ever needed
--------------Is here...
-----------In my arms"

Looking up to the summer sky, I pause
There is more than just a light up there
There is a home where I may never be

I fallow the jet flying over head with my eyes
I look for a moment and then without thinking
----------------I start running

I start running after it in hope of taking off
I start lifting off the ground
I can feel the air getting warmer, as I get closer to the sun

I can't stop
I'm getting to close
The heat is starting to burn!

And I'm gone
I'm never going back there
Now...I live in the sky
