Way of the Templar

Death in his eyes,

English sacrament.

 French descent.

Warrior strong.

No surprise.

Features clear

shadows cast.

Life of sacrifice.

Looking back.

Glint of fear

swallowed strife

Much forsaken

Pious life.

Way of the Templar.

Almost a hymn on The Poor Knights of Christ. Reminds me of others from the Layde series.

A good write SM and I love the pic you put with it, but if I'm remembering my history correctly they weren't English (although there may have been some British within their ranks at some point).
