Lord Please,

Lord Please,

A Poem by smashley

It was a hot summer night
On the bad side of town,
A stroll to a friends house
Turn this little girls world upside down,

She watched all the shows,
Never thought it would happen to her,
Until about half way to safety
She realizes shes got a follower,

The first couple times
She swore she was trippin,
But a half hour later
She knew it was time to start dippin,

Down the first road she finds,
Piratically running, shaking head to toes,
Then she hears a deisle motor
She already knows,

The window rolls down,
A voice asks "you working tonight?",
She gives no response
Too over come with fright,

The truck pulls up
Then the motor dies,
Car door slams
Tears fill her eyes,

Foot steps behind her
Shes too scared to run,
Her hair is now in his hand,
She knows shes he won,

Forced against a wall
Pants ripped down,
Her mind goes blank
As he starts to pound,

She didn't fight back
Not even a scream,
The whole time she thought
This must be a dream,

He finishes up
Not one word said,
Tears start to form
She wishes he would have left her dead,

Laying in the dirt
Left alone to cry,
She tilts her head back
And asks the Lord why,

She was so young
Only sixteen,
Still to this day
She doesn't feel clean,

Lord give her some peace
Help her ease her pain,
It still lives inside her
Everyday it pumps through her veins,

A very sad poem. I taught my daughter to defend themselves. If it means ripping off the man tool. Some pain can't be forgotten. But the girl should not hold guilt. Too many a-hole in this world. A powerful and very sad poem.
