The Everyman's Fear

The Everyman's Fear

A Poem by UnderTheDeadPoetTree

It's not that I was afraid that I was flawed,
It's that I was afraid that I was normal.

'The Everyman's Fear'
This was a joy to read. Just honest thought and expression of how you feel and how your heart does loss. We are always going through seasons of change. Ageing, loosing loved ones or pets or friends in many ways. We face our own changes in jobs, school-grades, choices, etc and etc. I enjoyed reading your poem of how you dealt with expectations from another and in yourself.
