Life Lessons In Lamplight

Life Lessons In Lamplight

A Poem by UnderTheDeadPoetTree

The wallpaper was outdated,
A faint musty smell lingered.
But it was cozy there enough for the two of us.
Warmth from held hands, lovelocked fingers.
It was there we learnt a lesson in lamplight;
Never judge a nook by its corner.
