Life Is A Garden So Live Like A Dog And Dig It

Life Is A Garden So Live Like A Dog And Dig It

A Poem by UnderTheDeadPoetTree
"

For the most faithful and loyal of companions

"
Sunbeams give gentle warmth to soft fur between my fingers.
That's what I'll remember. His familiar smell I hope will linger.
Earth and forest and love imbued his coal black coat and white collar.
Four perfect socks with whispy fetlocks, wet nose wandered,
Round the garden, a patrol, our protector, our friend.
This is what I will remember.

A beautiful life filled with love all the way to the end.
