Playground

Playground

A Poem by Clark
"

It started with the first line...then the second...then the rest just tumbled out and out and out...

"

Make my mind a playground
Hiding away in the mountains legion
Running away from my hopes
and chasing the tails of my fears
and roping down flights of my dreams
and jumping off piers into madness
and begging relief from my torments
and praying to the gods of my heartaches
and loving the women i see there
and wishing respite from my tangles
and falling asleep in the day.
