Writing Poetry with Our Clothes

Writing Poetry with Our Clothes

A Poem by Clark
"

well. born from a conversation about what I was going to wear the next day, it turned into something different.

"

slipping your shirt from your shoulders,
i kiss your freckled skin.
my tee-shirt is tugged off,
tossed, unnecessary, to the ground.
your hand makes my zipper hum its release,
then caresses my waist and my hips.
our jeans are haltingly kicked from our legs,
and tangled together, they drop to the ground.
our clothes are scattered on the floor; a silent testimony,
they whisper the sonnet of our love.

I liked this... something about it was so simple yet so full of profound truth.
