Me.

Me.

A Poem by rach

My happiness is the deep ocean,
I'm Trapped beneath the surface,
but I'm wearing a waterproof suit.

My loneliness is an avalanche,
If I make too much noise.
It buries me.

My soul is a tattered blanket,
worn, used and thrown to the side,
forgotten like yesterday's dreams.

My anxiety is a dark companion,
sometimes he falls a step behind,
but he always catches up.

My depression is my jailer,
he taunts me with the hope of freedom,
but he's thrown away the keys.

My life,
My heart,
My head.

My pain.

I'm most happy when the ocean is angry: most... unalone when alone... less anguished during those few moments in a day when I can negotiate not thinking...so intensely

at least.

Being aware of limitations allows the horizons to automatically broaden without a lifted finger's worth of effort being made.

You think your soul
is tattered now?

Wait til you get
to my age.

Enjoyed 😉
