Despair rips through my core,

while anxiety gnaws at my mind,

destroying everything that is me.

What it leaves in its wake.

 

Unrecognizable.

Thought provoking! I think I can connect myself to the person in the poem. I have experienced that anxiety which shattered my inner self into pieces and when it left the part of me that was left in couldn't recognize it... Excellent write...
