Let The Tears Fall

Where these poems come from, I couldn't tell you...because I have no idea.

All the sadness bottled up
Never to be seen
Never to be heard
Never to be known

I know you didn't try to hurt me
You tried not to cause me pain
You tried to soften the blow
But really, that just made it worse

The pain I went through every day
I kept away from everyone
How my skin was black and blue
Never occured to any of you

You never knew
how hard my life was
Nobody ever knew
And nobody ever will

So now that I am finally alone
And nobody can see me
Nobody can hear me
Nobody can know

I will gladly let
Just this one
And only time
These bottled up tears flow
