When The Sky WeepsA Poem by SharonSaddened world.
I sat upon a cliff
I watched the sky weep As the rain fell steadily to drench the already soaked land What can Gaea do when her water is poisoned? When her trees vanish into endless sawmills? When we fill her sky with smoke? She weeps endless rain The rivers rise The oceans grow The land shrinks When Gaea weeps She weeps for her creatures who have no where to live And she weeps for us As we destroy that which we need most Sharon Pribble
