Losing My Mind

Losing My Mind

A Poem by Sloane Holt

It twisted out my ears

And dripped from my nose.

It caused my family to flee

And my friends turned to foes.

It drizzled from my mouth,

It streamed from my eyes.

It distorted the truth

And made them all lies.

I saw my grey matter

Creep up the walls.

Now I'm stuck in this asylum

Til Death finally calls.

Wow! This is very vivid imagery and intense emotion. I do hope you are not writing from experience. ~Sharon

I could almost see this. Going insane is rough.

I love God, music, writing, and all sorts of art. I'm kind of a morbid thinker and some of my posts might reflect that, just a heads up. I know I'm a white girl, but I still love to rap, odd but true.. more..
