The Second, Two Words

The Second, Two Words

A Poem by Jordan A. Wilson

Two Words

Gypsy eyes

Cold hands

Warm heart

Amber waves

Weak knees

Level head

Stay smart

Time runs, so fast

Eagle fly, so high

Closed mind, don’t last

Torrential rest, always die

Two words

Finger tips

Electric touch

Roger that

Quick tongue

Golden voice

Winning smile

Cool cat

Time runs, so fast

Eagle fly, so high

Closed mind, don’t last

Torrential rest, always die

This is awesome. I adore the formatting of it, and love your distinct style placed all throughout this poem! great piece! i love the 2 word lines that happen to tell the same story in less words than most people would use!

This where I got the concept for this piece. Try saying it to the beat of this song and see how it flows.

Short. Static. Perfect. Cool cat? Nice. I actually say that all the time because I'm so freakin lame. The last stanza is my husband. We're in love. It's my way of saying I want to have its kids, it's so red hot great.
