A Technicolor Dream

A Technicolor Dream

A Poem by Jordan A. Wilson

Golden hellos and gray goodbyes

Seem to flash before my eyes.

Chilling thoughts and cool vibrations

Always ignite my imagination.

Come on, love. Let us slip away.

And wake up in another day.

Fiery reds and technicolor blues

Have attached themselves to my point of view.

Righteous proclamations and raw emotion

Prove to be a potent potion.

Come on, love. Let us slip away.

And wake up in another day.

Midnight skies and green thumbs

Give me tunes to quietly hum.

Funk jazz rhythms and deep rooted blues

Send me on a riverboat cruise.

Come on, love. Let us slip away.

And wake up in another day.

But thoughts and dreams and imaginative sequences don't vibrate; do yours? I feel like you're reaching for the right rhyme, instead of the right word. Midnight and vernal thumbs is AMAZING.

technicolor dream, this poem invokes a classic sense of the meaning,
spark imagery entwines with desire, artistic and well written.

I like it! Great job. Still like the style. And how you used colors in it. Really Awesome.
