Hard Heads and Soft Behinds

Hard Heads and Soft Behinds

A Poem by Jordan A. Wilson

They say a hard head makes for a soft behind

Your head is the hardest

So please let me spy from the back side

If you don’t mind

Your mouth is writing checks

That your tush can’t cash

But let me be your banker

We’ll work something out

I’ll let you get a loan

I’ll let you buy a vowel

Now you need a consonant

Girl, sound the puzzle out

They say a hard head makes for a soft behind

Your head is the hardest

So please let me spy from the back side

If you don’t mind

I would say opt out for the repetition of the first stanza at the end. It's brilliant otherwise. I'm addicted. Your poems are my nicotine.
