Whatever, Man...

Whatever, Man...

A Poem by Jordan A. Wilson

So there I sat, nauseously, after having just eaten my heart for dinner.

Yes, out of all possible things to do at this most opportune God-given moment, I just sat there…

Watching…

Wondering…

Watching her lie there on the floor in a fortress of pillows like a celestial spirit resting on a bed of Nimbus clouds.

Watching her eyes dance back and forth underneath delicate eyelids, wondering what far away land she’s flying to and how many interesting people she’s meeting along the way.

That was really good, it's nice to watch someone sleeping, but under the right circumstances. Good stuff.
