What I Really Want To Do

What I Really Want To Do

A Poem by Jordan A. Wilson

Let me tell you what I really want to do,

To see if your feelings and assumptions are true.

You think you know my type and how my mind works too.

Well rest assured, girl, I’m only in it for you.

I just really want to move,

Past where we’re at, I just really want to groove,

Get comfortable, get close, and watch the tube.

I’m trying to be real, not trying to be smooth.

We’re both one of a kind.

Unique thoughts stem from unique minds.

I have to let you know, not trying to put you in a bind.

Walk with me now; you’ll never know what you might find.

This piece feels very sincere. The format and rhytum are simple but effective. Well done.

The piece feels forced. I like the idea though.

I like the flow of thoughts and the desire in the words. Sometime we must put a offer out and hope for a good ending. I like the positive ending to the excellent poem.
