Tonight

Tonight

A Poem by SlightlyOdd

Clap your hands lets keep up a beat
let kings and queens dance with us to tonight
Nobody's sleeping
cause the music is too loud
tap you're feet lets get in the groove
If your ears are deaf the feel the vibration of the music for one night
Tonight
let voices never heard
stretch to the hills and back
Everybody's dancing
Harlots, Queens and Knights
Kings, Commoners, and Mercenaries alike
Everybody's dancing tonight
Nobodies different
Nobodies alike
It's just the music here tonight
So strut your stuff like you never dared
May your feet serve you well
A sudden relief from hell
In the music pulsing
with your pulse
A unheard union Tonight
For one night no one's going to hell
Or heaven
Cause it's visiting us tonight
one night
What harm could it do

This made me want to dance! I like your selection of words, and the flow of the lines. (Thank you for reviewing Watching The Clouds!)
