Finally

Once again,

Whirring, spinning, never ending.

cannot sleep.


My eyes are heavy,

and I try

not to want

to finally sleep.


I know my dreams aren't pleasant.

Otherwise I'd want to remember them.

Still I wish for them.

Cloying, clawing, suffocating,

I don't care.


Just for a single moment,

let my world fade,

like paint in the sun.

So I can no longer see it 


Let me "yawn"

finally sleep,

just from now till...

but not forever,not yet
