IntertwinedA Poem by slfisher8930/30
Existence is expensive
Not what to be But, where I start school soon As a celebration; we're moving The cost of living rise steadily; like the tide It threatens to drown I wave bye Neighborhood store, friends' houses, and Jewel flower daycare Sadness slides away; excitement builds Raising rent drives us out; as our neighborhood portrait Colored over Now, we must start over Mom and dad talk of more space, my own room, and new adventures I smile into the window © 2022 slfisher89 |
