In My Garden

In My Garden

A Poem by slfisher89

We were a silent seed sprouted by concern, care

Rooted from
mutual connection

Sunned through sharing stories, one self

Watered with thought, humor, emotion

Blooms connection, closeness

Blossoms warmth, fondness

From a silent seed to
Treasured tree
Which reigns over my garden

I like the nice gentle metaphor of trees. Sometimes I feel like one of those ancient bristlecone pines that has been around since the pyramids were being built. Trees. They paint time in their inward rings as years mark their growth. So much to learn from trees. They dazzle in fiery colors but are reborn new, green and bright. This garden seems like worthwhile soil for planting your feet and growing anything. I enjoyed the read; very nicely crafted. F.

What a wonderful poem, smooth and flowing like a stream. --- "From a silent seen to
Treasured tree
Which reigns over my garden" --- I'm taken by these words, especially, but confused. Did you mean "seed" instead of "seen" ?
