For you

For you

A Poem by slfisher89

Like cement you're a given
Concrete
Durable
Steadfast
But, over time
cracks appear
Form changes
Age, circumstances softened you
Roles switch
I tend to you
Watch over you
Know this,
I'm doing my best mom.

I like this simile and it was well elaborated in poetry. tyfs
Surprisingly, I don't read many poems about Mothers.

Yes, roles do switch in many cases. But if you are careful and fortunate, you'll have a smooth descent and a soft landing, and no one will have to take care of you.
