Chapter 5

Chapter 5

A Chapter by Jen Walters

Death you are so elusive to me,
You are so far away from me.
I wish I could touch you,
And end everything I couldn't do.

Yet you do not come for me.
I see yet you won't let me see.
Who you really are,
I can only watch you from afar.

I long to end this miserable life,
Full of toil and too much strife.
I wish to end this life at last,
It really hasn't been a blast.

I really do try so hard,
But all I do is sit in this yard.
I am in so much pain
All I can do is watch the moon wax and wane.

Why don't you come for me?
Instead you let me be
Is it because of some reason I cannot see?
The reason that you will not take this life from me.

Please let me touch you.
So I can stop feeling so blue
Sometimes I see your face
Other times its case by case.

Death please come for me.
