The Stars

The Stars

A Poem by Jen Walters

I see the stars
For what they are.
Balls of gas
That always seem to last.
However the light we see is dead.
Though that remains little said.
The stars give us hope eternal
With their varied glow.
I see the stars for what they are.
The possibilities seem so clear.
From year to year
Yet some are not so near.
I see the stars for what they are.
I see the stars for what they are.

I liked how you defined the stars.
"However the light we see is dead.
Though that remains little said.
The stars give us hope eternal
With their varied glow."
I saw the star is the desert of Asia and the USA. The star can steal your vision and thoughts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry dear Jen.
