Sunrise

Sunrise

A Poem by Jen Walters

Oh forsaken sunrise,
I should only hope to be as wise
The way you each day rise
From the cover of darkened guise.

You make each day new
You and precious blue
I bask in you,
I see all you do.

You have such beautiful colors,
Each with such allure.
You rise to be sure
You are perfect without any failure.

Oh magical sunrise, you rise with such beauty
For everyone to see
So that we may grow and be
For everyone to see.

I agree. I love the morning sunrise. Give us hope and make the new day seem a possibilities to be positive. Nice flow of thoughts led to a very nice closing. Thank you Jen for sharing the excellent poetry.
