The Wedding Night

The Wedding Night

A Poem by Jen Walters

The wedding night is fun and overwhelming,
Both our hearts to each other sing.
We dance the night away,
Our lives to live only in one way.

Our hearts to each other are bound,
Our souls to each other so tightly wound.
Time will not end for us,
We have not missed this bus.

We spend the night in each other's arms,
For I am lost in your eternal charm.
Our bodies are lost in physical passion,
That can never be undone.

We roll and tumble in the sheets,
Our bodies in endless love will forever meet.
Your kisses are firm and tight,
I return each one with all my might.

I can't wait to start our lives together,
I will love you forever and ever.

I like the old fashion ways. I never knew them. People waiting to discover each other on their wedding night.
"We roll and tumble in the sheets,
Our bodies in endless love will forever meet.
Your kisses are firm and tight,
I return each one with all my might."
I believe the days of old were better. Enjoying the pleasures of life with one person. Thank you Jen for the outstanding poetry.
