Say the WordA Poem by Jen WaltersSay the word and I shall be gone, I shouldn't have stayed here so long. I know not what I shall do, For it is impossible to live my life without you. I have tried oh so very hard, Spending most of my time sitting in this yard. This yard of loneliness, This yard of gloom in excess. I can endure it no longer, For my heart begins to waver. I must move on, By morning I will be gone. Do not weep in sorrow, For there is always a brighter tomorrow. Please have faith in love and trust, And be able to your shoulders dust.
