Mosquito Bites

Mosquito Bites

A Poem by Jen Walters

Another damned mosquito bite,
I sit and scratch with all my might.
I scratch and scratch until I bleed,
This is really getting frustrating you see.

I woke up this morning
And found four more bites,
This theme is getting boring.
I am getting tired of seeing these bites.

I am tempted to live in Alaska,
At least there I won't have to deal with mosquito bugs,
I will just have my lonely heart to hug.
And instead of mosquito bites to bring, frostbite will be my ring.
