Xenator the Giant

Xenator the Giant

A Poem by Jen Walters

Xenator the Giant roamed the land,
Smashing trees down with his hand.
He was an angry giant, having been forced from home,
With no friends and no where to go.
He would munch on cows and pigs, whatever he could find,
At night you could hear this giant whine.
For he was also a lonely giant,
Never wanting to be so defiant.
This giant meets a villager one day,
Who dares to not move out of his way.
They become fast friends,
They stick together through the end.
The villager is a nomad too,
Just like the giant, lonely and blue.
They protect each other through thick and thin,
On each other's hearts they put a grin.
It just goes to show,
The people we can know,
If we just give people a chance,
And not walk away at first glance.
