The Lady of the Lake

The Lady of the Lake

A Poem by Jen Walters

The Lady of the Lake sits poised like a statue,
Never moving yet always watching you.
She lives in the water still,
Guiding our every will.

The Lady of the Lake has all the power,
She sits silently hour by hour.
If you ask of her spirit,
She will give you your merit.

The Lady of the Lake commands love and trust,
Your silent faith is a must.
If you intend her harm,
She will strike at you with her strongest arm.

The Lady of the Lake is blessed and pure,
And she will always endure.
The Lady of the Lake is kind and firm,
She always abides by her term.

If you misuse her gifted power,
You will meet your darkest hour.
You must not meddle with her to be sure,
For her gifts and blessings will forever endure.
