The Incoming StormA Poem by Jen WaltersThe incoming storm rolls and tumbles the sea, It rages deep within me. How do I tell the person closest to me, That there is trouble brewing within me. I fear the storm may roll on forever, If I do not do something to stop it. The incoming storm is powerful and strong, And it will wreak much havoc all night long. My dear no you did not bring on this incoming storm, It's been brewing for awhile now. I hope you can one day understand, What I lack in positivity, I make up for by staying on land. Please forgive this storm, As with all things it is temporary. Help me to keep it at bay, I want to be who I truly am each and every day.
