Misery

Misery

A Poem by Jen Walters

Its mine my own,
Not on loan.
My misery keeps me company
So I don't seem so needy.
My misery is my best friend,
As it never seems to end.
I am happiest when I am miserable.
Even though it isn't always desirable.
Misery is my keeper
Not a cheater.
I smile through the pain
Knowing I have nothing to gain.
Its my misery!!! Get your own.
