The Vacation

this poem is about a family's random vacation and the sadness they experience upon coming back home. The memories and photos they made however will last a lifetime.

A family takes a vacation,

To an unknown destination.

They laugh and play,

Each and every day.

They have fun on the beach.

With the sun and waves just out of reach.

They take many pictures,

Of everything to be sure.

Eventually the sun will go down,

And they will have to turn around.

Return to their home,

And everything they own.

Their memories they will treasure.

And their pictures will forever bring them pleasure.

Of their vacation.

To an unknown destination.
