Like Puzzle Pieces

A Poem by Lindsay Lukens
"

Like most things I write, this is about sex and love. This is the beginning of what could be a great poem, I think.

"

I had a thought –
            just now –
about how you and I fit together.
    I think it is geometry,
                our way.
I have tasted –
             and it was good –
yet I admit the fit was better, still.
