I Can Almost Taste YouA Poem by Lindsay LukensA poem I wrote durring my first stimt in the psych hospital. Mildly erotic.I thought once my pieces were scattered
In the eastern winds the sun
Would never melt me back together. Now
I exist in heat. Turning back I
find my lonely skin heading for higher ground.
I look up at your towering façade and blow
Another bubble to stop my mouth watering.
I can almost taste you. © 2008 Lindsay Lukens |
