I Can Almost Taste You

I Can Almost Taste You

A Poem by Lindsay Lukens
"

A poem I wrote durring my first stimt in the psych hospital. Mildly erotic.

"
I thought once my pieces were scattered
In the eastern winds the sun
Would never melt me back together. Now
I exist in heat. Turning back I
find my lonely skin heading for higher ground.
I look up at your towering façade and blow
Another bubble to stop my mouth watering.

I can almost taste you.
