Color Theory

A Poem by Lindsay Lukens
"

Mildly erotic. This is about my Tiger-God...

"
I took the stripes from your face
And placed them on my pressure points –
Pressed your polka dots to our secret place.
From the sky to the water,
From my red to your blue
Let us modify this color wheel
And hang me next to you, while we swim
Through the orange, deep, around your eyes.
As the static blinks
And the lights begin to slow
I call out your name to my curtains –
Oh! To leap forward through time to
         Your bedside:

Soon you will never pull out of me.
