Love Easily BrokenA Poem by Sky WriterFor the all the broken hearts out there.I opened my eyes on a morning light Trying to see if there's a pretty good sight Still there's nothing but a sad plain room And my heart's still waiting for a love to bloom I sat back and leaned against the wall and thought; "Why were we arguing? Why did we fought?" I remembered when you hit the brakes too hard Our lives were to end, like a folded poker card It's a miracle that both of us are still breathing You visited my room and said it'll be our last meeting Right then you apologized and left so swiftly What a way to say goodbye when I'm hurting so badly I still yearn that one day you'll open the door In this hospital room, you'll apologize once more But I don't see how that's ever going to happen Cause our love was easily made and was just easily broken
