Thank you, Mom

Thank you, Mom

A Poem by Skylar Lighten
"

Short poem in appreciation of moms.

"

For everything she's ever felt,

Let your mother know you care.

In a hold that's heartfelt,

Embrace her, showing you're aware.

She's shielded you for so long,

Her love a fortress, firm and strong.

Now it's time to sing your song,

Carry your "thank you"s, lifelong.

In her arms, find relief and grace,

Feel the warmth of her embrace.

Express gratitude, leaving no trace,

Of the love that binds, time cannot erase.
