Cognac & WordsA Poem by skribbles33Written with thirsty fingers and a seeping mind.
A bottle of cognac
a packet of smokes and I’m thrilled to let my mind go, allow it to throw darts, pixels and picas and points up on the screen. I lost my pen, I opened Microsoft word,
left index finger on F right index on J and thumbs are spacing out like all that I ever am when I’m drinking alone . thinking on words. The bars and chords of classical music providing the background the flow of what I write here. The rhythm, the sounds of what you hear yourself read to your ear. Do me a favor before you read the next line... I’ll give you sometime.....
Bring out the drink that makes you unwind or roll you a joint, whatever you do don’t go on til you’re a cicada, flying high and buzzing like me. Here’s the line you were waiting for fool. Ready? I quit, now go out and live, life is to short to be reading words written by drunken a*s fools. © 2010 skribbles33Reviews
