Sweet. Stranger

Sweet. Stranger

A Poem by Skoolboy2011

the leaves rattle and shake gently
flowers sway off in the distance
wind whistles from tree top to tree top
a glance of nature in all it's pefection
that's what I see
every time.
she passes me....
if only her eyes were open
just a tad bit wider
if only she walked
just an eyelash closer
I'd be noticed
I would be seen
unseen by her naked eye
undeniable,
she is in mine
so close now
our fragrances interchange
and yet
my tongue defers to speak
no familiar than your everyday stranger
i know nothing about her
but there's something that feels so right
like a tree towering in a forest
there's no explanation why
but it just seems to belong
day after day
our paths seem to collide
destination appear parallel
but we remain nameless
maybe tomorrow I'll have the courage
possibly find the heart
to disturb our daily norms
just to hear her your name
to see her smile
to catch her eye
and just to break the trend...
