Let it die
Silently staring
As the tears escape your eye
You hold it in your arms
You just sat and watched it die
The tears they flowed
All you could do was sit and cry

I wanted to blame you
I wanted to say that you let it die
But it wouldn't be fair
If I said you never tried

So I just sat there
Watched it die
Much like you did
As tears escaped my eyes
